I just snapped up a $3.00 book at Michael's called Pilates. Small enough to slip in your dance bag to refresh your memory on all those great stretches.

Health Update

My health just got a whole lot more interesting. I went to the dentist for a toothache and found out I have 2 abcessed teeth. And she wouldn't fix them because my blood pressure was high. So she sent me off to a Dr. The Dr. put me on 2 kinds of meds for hbp. But while I was getting the exam, I asked them to check out the wart on my forehead that I've had about a year. And she said she thinks it's a non-matastasizing skin cancer. And she wants it removed ASAP.
So suddenly my self care has taken on a whole new surrealistic side. I was in shock for three days.
But today I have a belly dancing student coming over, and we are going to dance. I refuse to give up. I just need to be a little more creative.

New Exercise Schedule

My work schedule has changed, and now I'll be getting even less exercise than I was. So I had to come up with a way to get more exercise back into my life.
So each day I plan to walk 30 minutes in the morning. So this morning I did. Then tonight I did 100 legs lifts on each side while standing. And I also did some stretching to limber up. Hopefully, now that the holidays are over, I can be more consistant.
I'm also cutting way back on soft drinks and replacing them with water. I don't look forward to that, but I can't see how else I'm going to make any progress.
